Ultra-high-resolution 360° car interior photography

Cabin panoramas from the driver’s point of view, at about 450 megapixels: you look around as if sitting behind the wheel and zoom into every detail, from the leather stitching to the instruments. Designed for classic and collector cars.

Ferrari F355: drag to look around, use the scroll wheel or two fingers to zoom. The background outside the cabin can be changed or removed.

450 MPtotal resolution, with focus stacking: everything is sharp, from the dashboard to the seats
1.5 hourson site, without touching the car
2 daysof post-production: stacking, stitching, clean-up

The technique

  • High-resolution camera on a panoramic head, mounted on a horizontal arm that enters through the driver’s window
  • No tripod in the cabin and nobody on board: the car is never touched
  • Soft ambient light with a translucent sheet around the windows, for a studio-like result
  • Focus stacking and panoramic stitching for uniform sharpness across the whole image

Who it is for and how you receive it

  • Auction houses and collectors, to support the sale
  • Classic and sports car dealers
  • Car museums and brand heritage archives

I deliver a multi-resolution panorama that opens in seconds even on a smartphone, without downloading the whole file: as a link hosted on my website or as a package to publish on yours.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a 360° photo of a car interior cost?

Approximately €700 for a single 360° image and €1,500 for three images taken on the same working day. No VAT is charged on these prices.

Is the car touched during the shoot?

No. The camera enters through the driver’s window on a horizontal arm: nobody gets in, there are no tripods in the cabin and the car is not touched.

How long does it take?

About an hour and a half on site per car, plus about two days of post-production.

How do I receive the panorama?

As a multi-resolution panorama you can navigate in a browser or on a smartphone: a link hosted on my website or an HTML package to publish on your own site.

Can the background outside the windows be changed?

Yes. The exterior is removed and can be replaced with a setting of your choice, as in the Aston Martin DBX and Saturn panoramas.

Where do you work?

I am based in Milan and work throughout Northern Italy and Switzerland, including in the garages or storage facilities where the cars are kept.

Have a car to photograph?

One or more cars, in a garage, in a museum or ahead of an auction: tell me where they are and when, and I will reply with a quote.
